The Chaldean Community Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the stability, health, and wellness of those they serve through advocacy, acculturation, community development, and cultural preservation in partnership with the City of Sterling Heights, is developing the front 3 acres into the mixed-use development and will establish a wetland area with access and amenities on the 7 acres adjacent to the Clinton River. Located at 43700 Van Dyke, Tigris Tower apartments officially broke ground in 2022 with an expected opening of Summer 2025. With four-stories, this mixed-use attainable housing complex includes 135 apartments and 9,000 square feet of commercial space. In addition, the 7 acres of wetland area will be preserved and include a public park on the banks of the Clinton River. The total square footage of the building is planned to be 132,726 square feet with 190 surface parking spaces located in a central courtyard.
